What I Coach

What I Coach

What I Coach

My mission as a coach is to help you to become the person you really want to be, living the life you truly wish to live. It all comes down to clarifying your dreams and goals and making them your reality. The process of creating a better life—and sustaining it—requires transformation of the five innermost dimensions of your being and experience.

Integrative Wellness Coaching Dimensions
  1. Mind—we’ll use meditation and mindfulness training to help you develop “mindpower.” No tools are more effective and powerful for seeing where you want to go, understanding the steps necessary to get there, and staying focused on your path.
  2. Body—we’ll fine-tune your physical body to give you the best possible vehicle for your journey. We will make your body-mind connection powerful so you feel strong and balanced inside and out.
  3. Emotion—we’ll develop your emotional and social wisdom so your relationships grow more harmonious, healthy, and life-enhancing.
  4. Spirit (energetics)—we’ll change the fundamental energy levels in your body and ensure that they’re flowing in the right directions that accord with your higher nature and purposes.
  5. Visioning—we’ll tap into your heartfelt vision of who you really want to be and where you really want to go in this life and develop the maps, inner compass, and vessel for taking you there.

Core Integrative Wellness Coaching Areas

Wellbeing & Life Balance—wellbeing coaching shines the light of integrative wellness on every important area of life. This includes health and fitness, career, love relationships, family and friends, finance, physical environment, personal and spiritual growth, and fun and recreation. These are all interconnected and vital to creating a fulfilling, happy, successful life.

Movement & Fitness—I provide a comprehensive approach to movement and fitness that includes cardiovascular fitness, muscular fitness, flexibility, agility, balance, core strength, and coordination training. I also integrate nontraditional modalities such as tai chi chuan, qigong, martial arts, yoga, and Pilates to keep programs fresh and stimulating—something you love to do.

Recovery & Rehabilitation—I coach patients facing major health challenges or recovering from disease so as to improve their vital health indicators and overall wellbeing. This includes patients dealing with overweight and obesity; cancer survival; anxiety and depression; attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); cardiovascular disease; pulmonary disease; hypertension; arthritis; orthopedic surgery; substance abuse and addiction; diabetes mellitus; dyslipidemia; trauma and PTSD; kidney disease; osteoporosis; fibromyalgia; early-stage multiple sclerosis; cerebral palsy; Alzheimer’s disease; and Parkinson’s disease.

Meditation & Mindfulness—meditation instruction (a.k.a. Mindpower™ coaching) is central to my coaching philosophy and practice and includes instruction in meditation fundamentals; moving meditation; somatic meditation; breathwork; meditation for life change; mindfulness meditation; visualization and visioning; and meditation for emotional and physical healing.

Stress & Mood Care—I use a naturalistic approach to stress alleviation and mood balancing, which includes meditation training, movement and fitness coaching, nutritional counseling, and emotional and physical healing. People who learn to self-regulate their stress level and mood states not only realize greater ease, joy, and fulfillment in life and work, they also perform at higher levels.
